Some weeks ago Uzzo became team European Champion with Patrick van der Meer. Now the 14-year-old Lancet son was sold to a young rider from the Netherlands, who wants to compete the Grand Prix horse in the u25 tour. The Dutch warm blood gelding was world champion of the young horses in 2006, one year later when he was six years old he won bronze. The brown with the spectacular gaits managed to gain a foothold in the big sport and was competed by van der Meer in the individual rating at the Olympic Games in London. The Dutch rider regrets that the horse leaves him before the Olympic Games in Rio, but is pleased about the fact that Uzzo is in good hands. He will also chaperone the new pair’s training.
