It is news that no one has expected: Totilas, former dressage star will perform in front of an audience again. The KWPN stallion, now 17 years old, will be shown at the Saint-Lo Show from February 18 to 19 in France. Brice Elvezi, organiser of the stallion show of Group France Elevage told Horse&Hound that they usually focused on show-jumping stallions but that they wanted to put a foot into the dressage world and so they wanted to show the best, namely Totilas, which was made possible due to his long-standing contact with Paul Schockemöhle, Totilas’ owner. Elezi further said: “Like everyone else we are very excited that he is coming. Totilas is a mega star who made everyone watch dressage and love it.”
Totilas will be presented at the show on Sunday. Therefore he will probably not be shown at Paul Schockemöhle’s own stallion show in Vechta. However, it seems that the stallion will only be shown in hand.
