Early Retirement for Qlassic Bois Margot

The 14-year-old Selle Francais stallion Qlassic Bois Margot by L’Arc de Triomphe will be retired early this February. The dark brown horse, so his rider Simon Delestre told the online magazine Jump-Inside, had had severe eczema in the past and had to be treated with cortisone which incompatible with the FEI’s doping list. Therefore, after long discussions, it was decided to retire Qlassic.  His last performance will take place on February 24 in Saint-Lô.
Qlassic Bois Margot was first ridden by Duarte Romao, Marc Dilasser and Benjamin Robert before he came to Delestre. Delestre and Qlassic celebrated many successes, for example the victory in the Grand Prix of Mechelen in 2012 or the Ganrd Prix of Bordeaux in 2013. In 2014 they won the World Cup in Mechelen. Last year the pair had their last event in Valencia.
