The second German team rider, Dorothee Schneider, and Sammy Davis Jr. by San Remo have finished their performance in the Grand Prix and currently rank third with 75,062 percent. Currently in second position in Swedish Juliette Ramel, who presented 12-year-old KWPN gelding Buriel K.H. in top form. After the first Grand Prix day Jesscia von Bredow-Werndl and TSF Dalera BB still are in first place.
Dorothee Schneider was satisfied with her performance in the arena, but also knew why she had lost too many points in the first piaffe: “Sammy came behind me and lost his rhythm, but then the good feeling was back again.” The rider wants to analyse why she has lost the connection with her horse, but then also wants to focus on the future. The humid air, so Schneider said, caused her horse to breathe a lot, but he kept his spirits up. “He gave me a good feeling, but I think over the next days the humidity could play a role.”
National coach Monica Theodorescu was content: “Dalera had a great result, and that had been our plan, and Doro also rode very well but had a costly mistake which caused the marks to drop. It will stay exciting.”
The Germans currently lead the team competition with 76,677 percent ahead of the Swedish with 75,248 percent and the US with 74,891 percent, the scratch result included.
