Fabienne Lütkemeier & D'Agostino

Ears Forward to Victory: Lütkemeier and D’Agostino Beat Werndl and Unee

Recently married Fabienne Müller-Lütkemeier has surprised everyone in Wiesbaden. She and her D’Agostino, with whom she achieved a world record in Wiesbaden as a young rider in 2010, were able to beat the favourites Jessica von Bredow-Werndl and Unee BB. In front of the Biebrich Castle they won with 73,087 percent even though the rider had the feeling during the warm up that the Hanoverian gelding could have been a bit more active. However, in the end, so Müller-Lütkemeier said: „his ears came forward, he thought  “hey, we know this and we will rock it!“.

“For me it was the opposite,“ so the second placed said. “Unee was a bit stunned by the ambience, he started to hide and then small mistakes happened.“

“Originally I thought I would lose out to her,” Fabienne Müller-Lütkemeier said. “Yes, as cool as he seems to be, sometimes he is afraid,” von Bredow-Werndl said.

And in contrast to her colleague the rider from Bavaria does not have that much Schlosspark experience. She was last in Biebrich 17 years ago, “with a pony and with braces,” she said and smiled

The freestyle with floodlight tomorrow evening will be a debut for both horses, a real highlight in the Wiesbadener Schlossbark. One that is always connected with excitement.
