Pether Markne is New Coach at the Tops Stable

Peter Markne will work as coach at the Tops stable in the future. The Swedish will coach Edwina Tops-Alexander and the Qatari elite riders. Recently Markne flew to Valkenswaard for one or two days a time and got to know his new students. “Everything there is very professional,” he told Tidningen Ridsport.

In the past the Swedish coach has already trained Japanese Taizo Sugitani at the Henk Nooren Stables. Henk Nooren also helped him to get into contact with the team Qatar – who then asked him if he couldn’t also coach them. Apparently there has been no contract signed yet but Makne will come to the Netherlands once a week at least until the Olympic Games. Pether Markne also coaches the Swedish team of the young riders and has already coached Malin Baryard-Johnsson. Markne himself took part at the dressage competitions at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney and then became coach for dressage and show jumping.
