Wanted: New Coach for the Dutch Dressage Team

Dutch dressage coach Johan Rockx will not continue as chef d’équipe, so he told the Hoefslag. Johan Rockx first was employed as assistant coach to Wim Ernes when it became known that Ernes suffered from a brain tumor, then he took over full responsibility until the Olympic Games. Rockx, who previously coached U25 teams told his federation that he was not interested in doing the job beyond Rio. Currently Rockx is focusing on developing his own training facility in Roosendaal.
For the time being Maarten van der Hejden (technical director at the KNHS) will take over some of the duties of the team coach until a new coach has been found.
