Originally Janne Meyer had planned to keep 8-year-old Baltic Star by Bacardi/Chalan for herself, but the international interest in the Hanoverian gelding was big and therefore American Kent Farrington will ride the horse in the future. Previously the grey horse was competed successfully by Franz-Josef DAhlmann (GER), the pair had clear rounds at the youngster competitions at Lanaken and Nörten-Hardenberg.
Christoph Zimmermann also organised another transfer: 14-year-old OS stallion Cadensky, who until recently was presented in international competitions by Nisse Lüneburg is now Kerry Mc Cahill’s (USA) ride. The new pair was already placed third at the Grand Prix U25 in Wellington.
Janne Meyer’s husband also organised DSP Colfosco’s transfer from Holger Wulschner to Eric Lamaze. In the meantime it has become known that the top rider from Canada will not compete the horse. DSP Colfosco will be the ride of Lamaze’s pupil Kara Chad, who already was reserve rider in Rio and hopes to become part of the team at the next Olympic Games with DSP Colfosco.
