You could say that things are currently going well for Holger Wulschner. The rider from Passin won the Championat of Mannheim last week, now he won the Grand Prix of the Deutsche Kreditbank in Redefin. Wulschner and Holsteiner stallion BSC Cha Cha Cha by Casall/Le Grand won in the jump-off ahead of Doron Kuipers (NED) and Charley, who finished in second place. Third place went to Dutch Michel Hendrix and KPWN gelding Baileys.
“You could say that the attempt took me twenty years and now it worked,” Holger Wulschner joked after his victory. He explained why his wife Astrid was responsible for a big part of his succes: “Earlier I got annoyed a lot because I could not get Cha Cha Cha to show all his talent. Andreas Knippling helped me and then Astrid rode him for six months and I just watched. Then I saw what Andreas Knippling meant. I always wanted too much. Astrid helped me and we often discussed that.”
