Laura Tomlinson was able to go home to Britain with a big smile on her face. She and 10-year-old Westphalian mare Rosalie B won the Special in Oldenburg with 75,882 percent ahead of Swedish Michella Hagmann with Hochadel daughter Happiness and 74,569 percent. Third place went to German Carola Koppelmann with Deveraux B (72,490 percent).
The winner was happy: “It was the first test since July. She listened to me, felt well in the arena and I noticed that she has developed so much power and athleticism that we were able to finish the competition without mistakes.” This week it became known that the dressage rider is expecting her second child. She will attend the World Cup event in London and then take a maternity break. However, at home she wants to keep riding as long as possible.
