Martin Fuchs Has to Part with His Hope for the Olympic Games

It’s a bitter pill for Switzerland’s exceptional talent Martin Fuchs: After Picsou du Chene now also his hope for the Olympic Games, Cynar, has been sold. The 8-year-old Zangersheide bred horse is now owned by the Tops stable. “Cynar is one of the best horses I’ve ever had the chance to ride,” Fuchs says on his home page. “He is very complete and has a great character.” Despite his young age Fuchs already has numerous placements at 1,50m level and in Barcelona the pair finished their first five-star Grand Prix with only one fence down. “Next to Clooney Cynar was my hope for the Olympic Games 2016 in Rio,” so the rider states. “It was a hard decision to sell Cynar, but I’m positive that he will make his way as a championship horse.”
