British dressage rider Laura Tomlinson, nee Bechtolsheimer, who won team gold and individual bronze at the Olympic Games is five months pregnant. Laura and her husband Mark’s son is to be born at the end of March. “It isn’t a secret that I’m pregnant,” said the rider. “But I realised I’d better put something online before I will show and people think that I have gotten fat.”
She told Horse & Hound that she definitely was bigger than in her first pregnancy but would still fit into her suit and hoped to be competing at London Olympia in December. Furthermore she said she wanted to keep riding as long as possible.
