Neck-and-Neck Race at the German Championships in Balve: Werth Close to Bröring-Sprehe

The results at the German Championship in Balve were more narrow than everybody thought them to be. Kristina Bröring-Sprehe with Desperados and Isabell Werth with Weihegold OLD were facing a neck-and-neck race. In the end the favourite won the competition by 0,2 percent. The performance of Bröring-Sprehe and the Hanoverian stallion resulted in 81,920 percent and four times place cipher one, while Isabell Werth and the black Oldenburger mare Weihegold OLD came close with 81,720 percent. One judge even saw them in first place. The results of the following ranks were also quite interesting: Dorothee Schneider and Showtime showed that they are right in hoping for a ticket for Rio, they finished in third place with 79,940 pecent ahead of Sönke Rothenberger with his expressive horse Cosmo (78,080 percent). Hubertus Schmidt and the impressive Imperio were placed fifth (76,820 percent) ahead of Jessica von Bredow-Werndl with Unee BB. In seventh place followed Isabell Werth with her second horse Emilio (75,960 percent). Still placed were Jessica von Bredow-Werndl with her second horse Zaire, Anabel Balkenhol with Dablino FRH and Fabienne Lütkemeier with D’Agostino.
The medals will be awarded tomorrow in the special – great excitement guaranteed!
