Fabienne Lütkemier & Fabregaz

Focused to Victory: Fabregaz and Fabienne Müller-Lütkemeier

Fabienne Müller-Lütkemeier cannot stop beaming these days. The dressage rider from Paderborn got married last weekend and is inspired this weekend at the Wiesbadener Pfingstturnier: yesterday she and D’Agostino won the Grand Prix and today she and Florestano offspring Fabregaz won the Grand Prix of the Special Tour. Müller-Lütkemeier won with 73,043 percent ahead of Dorothee Schneider with 10-year-old Hanoverian gelding Faustus (72,957 percent) and Hubertus Schmidt with Imperio (72,043 percent). “It is great how focused Fabregaz was today,” the winner said. “The second piaffe was a bit too forward but all in all he has improved significantly since Hagen.”

Dorothee Schneider was content with the performance of Faustus, for whom it was the third international Grand Prix: “We started out a bit timid and in the two times flying changes he had to relieve himself and did not listen to me, but I had a very good feeling despite the mistakes. He gets more and more self-confident and enjoys his presence in the arena.”
