Stallion Corland Has Died at Age 28

Yesterday Holsteiner stallion VDL Corland by Cor de la Bryere/Landgraf I has died at age 28. The grey horse was successfully competed by Wout Jan van der Schans. The pair was place 9th at the EC in Arnheim, and achieved top placements at the Grand Prix of Rotterdam, Oslo, Den Bosch, Bordeaux, Maastricht, Helsinki, Zuidlaren, La Baule and Calgary. One of his most successful offspring is Kevin Staut’s Silvana, who won team silver at the World Championship in Kentucky and at the European Championships in Madrid. He has further offspring who is successful on the international stage : Apardi (who attended the 2016 Olympic Games), Fardon, California and Andretti S.
