New Zealand’s Equestrian federation has announced their chefs d’équipe for the World Equestrian Games. Wendy Hamerton will lead the dressage team, Greame Thom the eventers and Helena Stormanns the show-jumpers to Tryon. In her active time Stormanns was reserve rider for for Rome for the German team in 1998. Stormanns is looking forward to the challenge: “I am really excited and I am looking forward to it. I am used to training and helping riders. But it is something different when it is my job to make individual riders a team which supports each other.”
