Dujardin’s Former Grand Prix Horse Has Been Retired

Norwegian dressage rider Catherine Rasmussen has retired her top horse Fernandez, 16-year-old Westphalian gelding, so eurodressage.com announced. The chestnut gelding by Florestan, who once was competed as Forkus, started his Grand Prix Career under British Charlotte Dujardin. The current Olympic winner started competing at Grand Prix with Fernandez and had developed him to Grand Prix level. In 2011, Dujardin sold the horse to Rasmussen. The Norwegian and the chestnut attended the 2013 European Championships in Herning. Their last competition was also in Herning last weekend.
