Carbio van de Heffinck Retired from the Sport

At the event in Mechelen 15-year-old Holsteiner stallion Cabrio van de Heffinck has been retired from the sport. The grey horse by Cassini was successful in the sport under Belgian Olivier Philippaerts. In 2011 they won team gold at the EC of the young riders and then was part of the senior team at the WEG 2014. In 2012 the pair won the Grand Prix of Spruce Meadows, the event with the highest prize money in the world. Now the stallion is supposed to concentrate on his breeding career – he will start at the Zangersheide stud farm next season. He already has successful offspring, among them Bertram Allen’s Hector van d’Abdijhoeve or Daniel Deußer’s Geisha von Orshof.
