11-year-old Serise du Bidou by Gin Tonic Star will no longer be ridden by Olivier Guillon (FRA), but instead by Alison Firestone. The American has bought the French mare and the new pair will have their debut at Wellington. Guillon and Serise du Bidou won many competitions, among them the CSI2* Grand Prix in Lyon and Le Mans. “I always loved her,” so the rider said. “She is unbelievable, brave and has a big heart.” Recently he had many offers for the mare and together with owner Edith Mezard the decision to sell the horse was taken since they believed she had not yet realised her full potential. Instead Guillon and the owner now want to invest in young horses.
