Winningmood is one of the most successful show-jumping horses of the last years. Now Luciana Diniz’ 19-year-old stallion retires from the sport. This weekend at the World Cup Final in Paris the Darco/Cassino offspring will be presented for the last time.
Originally the grey horse came to the sport under Belgian Ludo Philippaerts. He then was sold to Eduouard de Rothschild who gave his ride to Diniz from 2009 onward. She and the BWP stallion won the Grand Prix of Vienna, Basel and Madrid. At the 2010 World Cup Final in Geneva they finished in fourth place and they participated at the European Championships in Windsor, Madrid and Herning.
In the future Winningmood will serve as stud at Haras du Meautry in Deauville.
