British eventing rider William Fox-Pitt has revealed his season plans to Horse&Hound. The eventer plans to compete Oslo, the now 14-year-old winner of Pau in 2011, at the new Event Riders’ Masters series at CIC3* level. Last year Oslo was injured.
With 16-year-old Parkplane Hawk, who won Burghley in 2011, Fox-Pitt has set his sights on Badminton. In case of the horse not being in good shape Burghley would be the choice.
16-year-old Chilli Morning, with whom the British won Badminton last year, will be saved for Rio, which is supposed to be his last competition. Until then, Fox-Pitt will prepare him with single-day competitions for the CIC3* in Bramham in June.
