Only a week ago it was confirmed that the sale of Carl Hester’s Uthopia by Wilsons Auctions has been executed. The new owner wanted to remain anonymous. The only thing yet known is that he is from Ireland. Now Carl Hester has announced that the 15-year-old KWPN stallion will enjoy his retirement in his previous stable in Gloucestershire. The big concern during the auction was that Uti, so Uthopia is called, would have to leave Carl Hester’s yard due to the bankruptcy of his owner. Now these fears are over. “A happy ending,” so Hester said, “after a stressful time. This will make my birthday party tomorrow something really special.”
According to eurodressage.com, one half of the horse has been bought by one of Carl Hester’s patrons who also wants to remain anonymous.
