Taloubet Z: Last Competition at the Weekend

In Rio Christian Ahlmann had already announced that Taloubet Z would not attend no more Championships. Now the endpoint of his career has also been announced. The 18-year-old KWPN stallion will attend his last event this weekend in Leipzig. In 2011 the pair won the World Cup Final there. Over the course of his career, the Galoubet A son, whom the German show-jumper once described as a “Ferrari” won more than 2 million Euro prize money. Apart from the World Cup Final their biggest successes were team silver at the EC in Aachen as well as team bronze with the team in Rio. The tall brown horse also waon the World Cup in Oslo, the Grand Prix and the World Cup in Helsinki, the 2011 Grand Prix in Paris, the 2011 Grand Prix in Estoril, the World Cup show-jumping competition 2012 in Leipzig, the Top 10 Final in Geneva in 2012, the World Cup in Leipzig in 2013 as well as the World Cups in Madrid and Mechelen in 2013 and the World Cup in Stuttgart in 2016.
