Steffen Peters and horse owner Akiko Yamazaki have decided to have Dawn White-O’Connor ride 15-year-old Westphalian gelding Legolas. The US American and Legolas have had a successful career together, which ended in team bronze at the Olympic Games in Rio last year. In 2011, Legolas came from the Kasselmann stable to Steffen Peters and became his number one horse when Ravel was retired. Now the Laomedon son will be ridden by White O’Connor, who already had another Grand Prix horse, Aristo. Steffen Peters will now count on Rosamunde and 14-year-old Wizard.
