Former Olympic Medal Winner Mac Kinley Has Died

KWPN gelding Mac Kinley by Nimmerdor has died aged 24. At the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens he won team silver under Rolf-Göran Bengtsson and in 2007 he came to German Mario Stevens. The new pair achieved placements in many high-calibre competitions. Mac Kinley was retired from the sport in Frankfurt when he was 17 years old. Stevens told World of Showjumping Mac Kinley was the best horse he had ever ridden and that he had made his career.
