British eventing rider Oliver Townend has to say farewell to his 11-year-old partner Cooley SRS. The Irish sport horse was sold to Terry Snow, who will give his ride to Australian Hazel Shannon. At his first four-star in Badminton event, Cooley SRS finished second. The Ramiro B son came to Townend when he was four years old. The pair soon celebrated their first successes and attended their first three-star event in 2015. In the same season they won the CCI3* in Ballindenisk. “It is sad to have such a horse leave the stable and Great Britain,” Townend states on Facebook. At the same time he understands that the previous owner Angela now is able to invest in a new horse.
