Dutch Championship Horse Passed Away at Age 21

Dutch gelding Hexagons Ollright, who won some medals under Laurens van Lieren has died at age 21. The Rubiquil son had arthritis and his health had deteriorated over the last days, so eurodressage.com reported. Therefore the horse had to be euthanised. When he was six years old Ollright participated at the World Championship in Verden, but he and his rider Nicolette van Leeuwen did not make it to the final. In the same year the gelding was also presented in the small tour in Aachen. In 2005 and 2006 van Lieren and Ollright won team silver at the European Championship and World Championship. In 2007 they won team gold at the EC in Turin. In 2009 the pair ended their career and the gelding became a schoolmaster in England.
