Vivant Vd Heffinck Retired at Age 18

He was a reliable partner in the show jumping arena for many riders for many years and now he will be retired: 18-year-old Vivant vd. Heffinck. Most recently, the Fuego du Prelet son was competed by Ukrainian Cassio Rivetti. They achieved eighth place in the individual rating at the 2014 World Equestrian Games and won the Nations Cups in Al Ain, Drammen and Linz.
The horse became known under Australian Chris Chugg, who competed him at the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky, they finished in 21st place. At the 2010 World Cup Final in Geneva they were placed seventh. Then Vivant was sold to Alexander Onischenko, who gave the horse to Katharina Offel. They were part of the Olympic team in London and had won the sighting in Aachen that year.
