Talan to Retire at Age 17

Abdullah Al-Sharbatly has decided to retire 17-year-old Talan by Concorde/Burggraf. The 17-year-old KWPN stallion once was introduced to the international sport by British Robert Smith. The pair attended the 2010 WEG in Kentucky. Then he was sold to HH Prince Faisal Al-Shalan from Saudi-Arabia who rode the horse at the 2014 WEG. One year later the stallion came to Abdullah Al-Sharbatly. They were able to celebrate great successes, among them second place in the CSI5* Grand Prix of Riyadh. The rider said in a press release: “Talan played a huge part in my career. He always gave me his best and was a true winner. He definitely deserves the best. Thank you Talan for everything you did for me and the sport.”
