Laura Renwick, the sole British contender at the Longines FEI World Cup Final, has to experience a great disappointment: when she came to her horse Bintang II in the morning the horse could not move properly. “Bing couldn’t put his head down to eat or move his neck,” the British rider said. Apparently his box was a mess and she thinks that he had been cast. Even though Bingtan II improved a lot throughout the day it was not possible to compete him. “It was a really hard decision,” so Renwick said. “We believe he would have had a great chance in the final and he jumped very well during the warm up. However, his welfare is paramount. Gutted doesn’t begin to sum up our feelings”.
