Johan Rockx Leads Dutch Dressage Riders to Rio

The Dutch Equestrian Federation has announced that the dressage riders will be accompanied to the Olympic Games by Johan Rockx, who will function as nationasl team coach. He will take over the coaching and preparations in Rio, but current Bondscoach Wim Ernes and the technical KNHS squad will advise him. At the end of last year Wim Ernes was diagnosed with a brain tumor, which -according to newest findings- is declining. However, Ernes is still physically not able to accompany his team.
Johan Rockx, who has many pupils at Grand Prix level and already has been a coach at the KNHS for a long time will now wait for the sightings at the CHIO in Rotterdam and the championship in Ermelo and then announce the squad for the Olympic Games.
