Jessia Mendoza’s Ramiro Dies From Colic

Jessica Mendoza’s (GBR) 16-year-old horse Ramiro de Belle Vue by Mozard des Hayettes has died. After an eye surgery the Belgian Stallion developed a colic, from which he did not recover. Mendoza took over Ramiro’s ride in 2013 and since then the pair has won many international show-jumping competitions. The pair was always one of the fastest in the area. “I could not have had better years with him,” the rider says on Facebook. “He took me¬†from winning¬†my first Global Tour to winning my first Derby and car. The most cheeky and cheerful character who always will keep a special place in my heart. Thank you for everything and sweet dreams little man.”
