It is a well-known fact that Bella Rose is Isabells favourite. That made the four year break due to an injury so much harder. However, the mare is back and did not forget anything. Some weeks ago she won in Fritzens and now was able to repeat this in the Soers. They finished the Grand Prix with 77,87 percent. It could have been more than 80 if the flying changes would have worked. Werth said this happened due to problems with the fine-tuning, which was normal for such a long break. But the piaffe and the halfpasses were pure perfection. Werth who took the horse to Aachen since Weihegold had already proven herself capable was very happy. “My dream is Tryon – and I think today we did not stray too far from that goal”.
Dorothee Schneider’s Showtime also had his first competition after a break. In the end they reached 75,652 percent and second place – they also had problems with the flying changes. Schneider also said she had problems with the fine-tuning. Third place went to Jessica von Bredow-Werndl with Zaire-E, Fabienne Müller-Lütkemeier and Fabregaz followed with 71,935 percent in fourth place.
