Isabel Freese Looses Horse Due to Aortic Rupture

It is a shock for every rider when their horse dies from an aortic rupture. Norwegian dressage rider Isabel Freese-Bache now had to live through this nightmare. Her 10-year-old Hanoverian gelding Sam’s Ass died unexpectedly on April, 19th, so eurodressage.com reported. The gelding was owned by Paul Schockemöhle, Freese-Bache is one of his employees. The pair was placed second in the 2016 Louisdor Cup Final in Frankfurt. This year the pair had good chances to become part of the team at the European Championships in Gothenburg.
