Norwegian rider Isabel Bache will be riding and training the Oldenburg licensing champion of 2008 and top producer Fürstenball, the homepage eurodressage.com disclosed. For five years, Ines Westendarp had ridden the stallion by Fürst Heinrich/Donnerhall. The 8-year-old is one of the most popular sires in Germany.
Lone Boegh Henriksen from Denmark bought Fürstenball when he was still a filly; at the Oldenburg stallion licensing a half share was sold to Paul Schockemöhle. Fürstenball has already 30 licensed sons, among them Follow Me, another winner of the Oldenburg stallion licensing. At age 5, Fürstenball was winner of the Bundeschampionat and a finalist at the World Young Horse Championships in Verden. Isabel Bache is an assistant trainer at Paul Schockemöhle’s yard in Mühlen and will prepare the horse for the 2015 Nürnberger Burg-Pokal.
