Horses & Dreams: Patrik Kittel’s Fist Step towards Rio

“It’s great feeling to ride this horse,” Patrik Kittel said after he won the Grand Prix Freestyle with 12-year-old Silvano daughter Deja in Hagen a.T.W. “She’s always motivated, has a big heart and a great character.” The Swedish Rider and Deja won the competition with 77,460 Percent. “With this success we’ve made our first steps on the road towards Rio,” Kittel said, laughing. Second place in the competition went to Jessica von Bredow-Werndl (GER) with KWPN mare Zaire BB (75,120 percent) ahead of her compatriot Fabienne Lütkemeier with Hanoverian gelding D’Agostino.
Fürst Levantion, a son of Fürst Romancier bred by the stud farm Lewitz was able to win the qualification to the Nürnberger Burg-Pokal with Isabel Freese. The 8-year-old Oldenburger stallion and his rider received 73,195 percent for their performance. Second place here went to Helen Langehanenberg (GER) with KWPN gelding Suppenkasper (72,634 percent), third place went to Kira Wulferding with Bengalio by Breitling W (72,220 percent).
