Right now it seems as if Canadian show jumper Ian Millar will not be able to attend his eleventh Olympic Games. The top horse of the 69-year-old rider, Vigo D’Arsouilles son Dixson, suffers from a sinusitis for which he already underwent surgery twice. The chances that he will be back in form in time for Rio are very small. If Millar competed again at the Olympic Games he’d be sole record-holder with eleven participations. However, Millar already announced he would try again at Tokyo 2020 if it does not work out this year.
