14-year-old Hanoverian stallion Firth of Lorne who has been competed by American Leah De Martini since 2015 is back in Germany. In the future the For Pleasure/Stakkato son will be ridden by Marcus Ehning. He has been in the stable in Borken for two weeks and Ehning is planning to compete him at a small event in a short while.
Firth of Lorne and his former German rider Katrin Eckermann achieved great successes. They won the 2014 Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Hamburg and the Nations Cup in Falsterbo. However, in the same year they had a streak of bad luck in Aachen, where they had a fall at the water in the Nations Cup as well as in the Grand Prix. Then the stallion went first to Franz-Josef Dahlmann before he came to the US.
