9.76 as a final score is an impressive performance. This was the final outcome of Sezuan, the new five years old world champion of dressage horses. In Verden the stallion from Denmark was able to receive amazing results together with his rider Dorothee Schneider. For the gallop they scored 10.0 and 9.9 for the general impression. The submission was assessed with 9.7 and trot and walk each with 9.6. The noble stallion by Blue Hors Zack/Don Schufro hadn’t even participated in any qualification for the world championship. He had received a wildcard by the FEI which allowed him to start there. Sezuan had already been celebrated a star when doing his performance test. In 2012 he was assessed ten times with 10. And only one year afterwards he became the winner stallion at the licensing.
Samoura M v. San Amour/Ferragomo and her rider Ann-Christin Wienkamp won silver in Verden. The Westfalien mare scored 9.34. Eye Catcher, the KWPN stallion, and his Dutch rider Kirsten Brouwer achieved 9.30 and thus won bronze. The Vivaldi/Partout son was appreciated as well when the judges gave him 10.0 for his trot.
