This is unprecedented: Fiontini and her full sister Fiontina, both from embryo transfers, win gold and silver at the world championship for young dressage horses of the 5-year-old. With spanish rider Severo Jesus Jurado Lopez the Danish mare by Fassbinder/Romanov Blue was already victorious in the qulification, she even scored one 10. In the finals, she did not receive a 10, but with an overall score of 9.18, the brown mare bred by Hanne Lund and Henrik Jansen stayed above 9.0. The only other horse to achieve an equally impressive result was her full sister Fiontina, presented by Danish Andreas Helgstrand. She followed closely to her sister with an overall score of 9.02.
At the Blue Hors Championships for young dressage horses during the Danish stallion certification in March both mares already delighted the judges and audience. Charlotte Dujardin (GBR), the guest rider there, said she would have liked to award them a score of 11 or 12 for rideability.
Bronze went to Hanoverian stallion Quantensprung by Quando-Quando/Donnerhall (breeder: Gabriele Berner). The dark chestnut horse received a score of 8.96 under Vera Nass.
