US show jumper Charlie Jayne has sold his long-standing top horse Chill R Z to young rider Eve Jobs. The 13-year-old Zangersheide stallion by Chellano Z was ridden by Jayne for five years and always was part of the last few championship squad. In 2012 at the Olympic Games and in 2015 at the World Equestrian Games they were the reserve pair. The pair’s highlights were the Nations Cups and the World Cup Finals of 2013 and 2014. In 2015 they won the 1-Million-Dollar Grand Prix in Ocala, this year they were placed third at the 1-Million-Dollar Grand Prix in Thermal. “From the youngster competitions to the Olympic Games, World Cup Finals, Nations Cups and Grand Prix it was a crazy journey I wouldn’t have done with any other horse,” so the rider states on his facebook page.
Now 18-year-old Eve Jobs, who competes at CSI2*-level, will take over the stallion’s ride.
