Badminton Course Will Be Eased in Some Parts

Last year only 32 pairs made it to the show-jumping at Badminton’s cross-country day due to the ambitious course. Therefore, so Horse&Hound disclosed, the course of 2015 is supposed to be designed easier around the main source of the problems, the fence Vicarage Vee. Guiseppe Della Chiesa from Italy was course designer for the first time last year, but he had already been technical delegate at Badminton from 2008 to 2010. With a quote of only 38,6% of pairs who were able to finish the event he set a record for the lowest completion rate ever. Now he will be responsible for the course the second time in a row.
