Andreas Helgstrand’s once promising horse Akeem Foldager is back in the sport after a two year break. In Feburary, American Charlotte Jorst bought the Danish gelding and now competed him for the first time in California. The pair won the Grand Prix with 72,2 percent. Horst told eurodressage.com that Akeem had been very nervous and was sweating, but one minute into the competition he had noticed that everything was ok.. “He was wonderful,” so the Danish born said. Helgstrand and Akeem Foldager were part of the team for the 2013 European Championships in Herning. Now Jorst wants to focus on the Olympic Games in Rio.
